Description
These Buffalo Chicken Sliders layer spicy buffalo chicken, creamy ranch, and melted cheese inside soft slider buns brushed with savory garlic butter. They take just 10 mins to prep and make an easy game day appetizer, party snack, or quick lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 pack, 9 slider buns
- 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Garlic butter
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Heat the oven to 350°F and line a 9 by 9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Mix the filling: Combine the shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Assemble the sliders: Place the bottom half of the buns in the baking dish. Spread the buffalo chicken over them, add the shredded cheese, then place the bun tops back on.
- Make the garlic butter: Stir the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning together, then brush it evenly over the buns.
- Bake the sliders: Cover with foil and bake for 15 mins. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 mins, until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
- Serve warm: Separate the sliders and serve while the filling is hot and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works well and keeps the prep quick.
- Assemble the sliders shortly before baking so the buffalo sauce doesn’t make the buns soggy.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
- For make ahead prep, refrigerate the chicken filling separately and assemble just before baking.
