Description
Strawberry Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is a fluffy, creamy dessert dip made with strawberry cream cheese, sour cream, honey, lemon zest, vanilla, and marshmallow fluff. It takes about 10 mins to mix and is best served chilled with fresh fruit, pretzels, graham crackers, or cookies for an easy party tray.
Ingredients
- 7.5 oz softened strawberry cream cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 4 to 5 drops red food coloring, optional
- 7.5 oz marshmallow fluff
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese: Let the strawberry cream cheese sit at room temperature until it stirs easily and no longer feels firm.
- Mix the base: Add the cream cheese, sour cream, honey, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and red food coloring to a medium bowl. Stir until smooth, creamy, and evenly pink.
- Fold in the fluff: Add the marshmallow fluff and gently fold until combined. Stop once the dip looks smooth and airy.
- Chill the dip: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1hr so the texture thickens slightly and the flavors settle.
- Serve cold: Spoon into a serving bowl and serve with fresh fruit, pretzels, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or cookies.
Notes
For the smoothest dip, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing. Do not overmix after adding the marshmallow fluff, or the dip can lose some of its light texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days and stir gently before serving.
